About The Twin Heirs of the Prophecy ...

The Twin Heirs of the Prophecy is the manuscript for the first book in the series The Atlas Chronicles.

After several years of attempting to get this story published, I am no longer going to bother with publishers who send out generic rejection letters without reading the manuscript. Instead, I am going to listen to the people who have read it, who say things like:

  • "It's great - I'll absolutely support you." - Carrie Jones, New York Times best-selling author of Need, Captivate, and Entice.
  • "You are an extremely good writer. Your characterisation is very good. I enjoyed reading it. It is a complex story but you have handled all the characters and the odd situations very well. Plus the main characters have been well developed so the reader knows them. It is beautifully written and the subject matter should be found intriguing by its readers." - Heather McKay, The Authors' Agency, New Zealand. And
  • "You have a wonderful style of writing that is quite unique." - Dame Christine Cole Catley, Cape Catley Publishing.
I now intend to self-publish the story. Not only is this the smoother path (notice I did not say easier), but I have been to many seminars by authors lately that have convinced me that self-publishing is the best option for me. The manuscript is currently with acclaimed Canadian author Holly Bennett, who has kindly agreed to come on board as my editor. Not only is Holly an author in her own right, but she is the editor-in-chief of Today's Parent Special Editions magazines, and brings many years of experience as a freelance editor to the story.

Thank you for showing and interest in The Twin Heirs of the Prophecy. I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Check out the Support Page to see what other people think of the story so far, and to see how international the appeal of the story is.
